Troop Church Gatherings

Dearly beloved in Christ,
In the process of establishing God’s kingdom in the Nation India, the Lord is raising an Army to fight for His kingdom against satan and his kingdom. Congratulations on dedicating yourself to register your name to be the frontline warrior of The Army of Jesus. As you know,

“Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”. Ephesians 6:12

I would like to remind you of your first and foremosduties of being a soldier in The Army of Jesus Christ. .

1 Duties of Individual Soldiers
  • 1. Daily prayer for 2.30 hours( Time for securing protection as well as for receiving commands from the Lord)
  • 2. Attending or Conducting weekly Troop Church
  • 3. Proclaim the Gospel daily to at least two persons directly or through mail, phone. (Introducing Jesus to two new persons or motivating 2 believers/Christians with the manna verse for the day.
  • 4. Start a new troop in 2 months.
  • 5. Trans India project :

Duties of the members during Troop Church gathering

All the 10 soldiers have a role to play, each one to perform one of the following in turns:

1. Introduction& Welcome - 1 min.
2. Opening prayer - 2 min.
3. Pledge (2 Corinthians 10:3-5) - 2 min.
4. Worship - 30 min.
5. Message - 30 min.
6. Prayer for Troop members & other intentions - 20 min.
7. Sharing testimonies of last week - 20 min
8. Planning for the next week etc. - 5 min
9. Concluding prayer (Ps 144:1) - 2 min
10. Preparing Report & sending - 5 min

During the time of sharing, the Troop Leader should make each one share invariably and instruct them about the duties of individual soldiers mainly their personal prayer (2.30 hours).

Pledge of the Army

2 Corinthians 10:3-5

  • 3For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.
  • 4The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
  • 5We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
